Furry Homes For The Holidays: Lloyd Offers Special Promotion For Humane Society Pet Adoptions

Is your household ready for a four-legged new addition? This is the time to adopt!

Beginning Nov. 6 until Nov. 17, or while funds last, Lloyd’s leasing team at 605-334-RENT is covering $50 toward every dog adoption and $10 toward every cat adoption at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.

“The Lloyd Companies promotion is really cool,” said James Oppenheimer, the Executive Director for the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. “Ideally, everyone in the community should be able to adopt an animal. In reality, there is a financial burden to pet ownership. We try to keep it affordable, but the cost of food, vet visits and toys can add up. The promotion from Lloyd helps remove one of the financial barriers.”

With the Lloyd promotion, a $25 cat adoption will cost $15 and a $120 dog will cost $70, for instance.

“We rely on our awesome community partners, and the support of Lloyd is so vital to our community in removing some of the barriers to adoptions that our residents encounter,” Oppenheimer said.

Plus, every animal adopted during the promotion will go home with a bandana and various goodies from Lloyd.

“We love pets at Lloyd Companies and enjoy managing so many pet-friendly communities across the Sioux Falls area and beyond,” said Ashley Lipp, Lloyd’s VP of Residential Property Management. “This is a fun and meaningful way for us to show appreciation to our community and hopefully find homes for some pets we ultimately will call our residents!”

Ready to adopt? Stop in the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society at 3720 E. Benson Road from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday or from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It’s closed for cleaning on Thursday.
