Another Deal! Chick-fil-A Announces Plans To Open At Empire Place

South Dakota’s most sought-after retail property, Empire Place, just added a big name, Chick-fil-A! They will build their first Sioux Falls restaurant at Empire Place.

Lloyd Companies’ Raquel Blount helped bring the deal together, making it the second big new national name to announce plans to open at Empire Place. Chipotle Mexican Grill also plans to build on the site.

“It’s so exciting to finally be able to tell Sioux Falls that Chick-fil-A is coming,” said Blount, who is handling leasing at Empire Place. “We think our duo of new national restaurants will be a huge draw to Empire Place and bring an unprecedented level of activity to the rest of our center.”

Chick-fil-A is expected to start construction this summer and open by the end of the year.

So what’s next? Empire Place has several multi-tenant retail centers for lease and significant interest from prospective tenants.

“There are going to be more fantastic announcements ahead,” Blount said. “And while we have multiple deals in progress, we also have space remaining. Whether you’re a local, regional or national retailer, if you want to be in an A+ location in an outstanding market, we want to hear from you.”
