The Rowe On 57th Will Offer Instagrammable Living With An 80s Twist
Lloyd Companies has never offered anything like this, but we know residents have a lot of options for apartment living and we wanted to create something totally different.
Introducing The Rowe on 57th, a modern community with 1980s inspiration. It’s currently under construction in southeast Sioux Falls near 57th and Bahnson and you won’t believe what’s in store for these new residents.
“The buzz in the office at Lloyd is as high as what we expect it’s going to be when people outside of our office start hearing about it,” said Drew O’Brien, Regional Manager. “We talk about it around the water cooler because we’re that excited about it.”
What To Expect
Get ready to feel like you have gone back in time when you enter the community building at The Rowe.
We don’t want to give too much away but think Ms. Pac-Man game tables instead of cocktail tables, custom neon signs and fun throwback vinyls.
“The clubhouse is huge and it’s awesome,” O’Brien said. “It’s designed as an open space, so instead of having our management office down a hall or in a corner, there are big barn doors in the main lounge that, when opened, will allow the spaces to feel connected.”
There will be a state-of-the-art fitness center with “smart” equipment and plenty of 80s inspiration everywhere you look – including inside of your apartment.
The Rowe will open its first “flat” style building with 16 one, two and three-bedroom homes this April and a new 36-home building in early June.
“The 80s had some glam, so you’ll see a unique feel in the apartments with looks like white marble and touches of bright gold,” O’Brien said. “I don’t even know if I could tell you the exact moment our team decided to go this direction, but we were talking about how you have to make communities unique, and as we talked through it we realized we could actually make this work. And it just snowballed.”
The Outdoor Life
As the weather continues to improve, residents at The Rowe will love what’s ahead.
“We expect our residents here will live an active lifestyle so we wanted to make sure we offered that right out their door,” O’Brien said. “Again, we’ll be unveiling some of this as we go, but we’re really trying to activate that space. Think life-size chess pieces so you can play a game with friends, an outdoor pool and outdoor grilling area and fire pit.”
What’s Next
The Rowe will continue to offer new apartments into 2022. With its prime southeast location, it’s close to schools, parks and a number of places to shop and dine.
“We really feel like this is hitting at what people want,” O’Brien said. “They want to live in a place that is as unique as they are.”
