Lloyd Companies Named Among Best Places To Work

Lloyd Companies once again has been named one of the Top 50 Places to Work in the northern Plains by Prairie Business magazine.

This marks the third year the magazine has recognized Lloyd Companies for its leadership in the workplace. Companies are nominated through an anonymous employee survey outlining work environment, employee benefits and employee morale. Consideration also is given to the number of nominations received per company.

“We strive to be an outstanding employer at Lloyd Companies, and this recognition driven up through our employees is gratifying,” CEO Chris Thorkelson said. “We are fortunate to work with an extremely dedicated, talented team and we are thankful for their commitment to our residents, tenants, investors and the communities we conduct business in.”
Prairie Business received more than 1,000 nominations and used its survey results to determine the 50 best.

“The 50 Best companies clearly recognize employee satisfaction as one of the keys to productivity and profitability,” editor Tom Dennis said.

“That comes through in the surveys over and over again. We all know how hard we’ll work to satisfy a good manager. Turns out people feel the same way about the companies they work for — and when an employer goes the extra mile for its workforce, the workers go all out to return the favor. Lloyd Companies also congratulates fellow Sioux Falls winners Epicosity and Lemonly.
