Lloyd Companies Breaks Ground In Aberdeen

Members of Lloyd Companies’ development and construction teams participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for Central Villas in Aberdeen, SD last Tuesday, May 10th. Construction is already underway on the 40-unit affordable housing development for senior citizens (55 and older) and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2017.

The project will address an affordable housing need in Aberdeen and is the result of a partnership with the Aberdeen Housing Authority. The facility will feature 30 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom units, eight of which will be accessible for individuals with impairments. Other amenities include a garage for each unit, an elevator, a community room with kitchen and a gas fireplace, a picnic area, and a security system.
