Block 5 – Built By Lloyd
In the heart of downtown Rapid City, Block5 is rewriting what a city center can be. Selected through a competitive process by Elevate Rapid City in 2019, this project was built to deliver on a broader community vision for the core of downtown.
Built By Lloyd brought Block5 to life as a 10-story, mixed-use destination along Saint Joseph Street between Fifth and Sixth, blending hospitality, residential, retail and structured parking into one connected experience. Anchored by the now-open Hyatt Place and paired with upscale lofts, first-floor retail and an on-site parking ramp, Block5 adds new energy for locals, visitors and the businesses that make downtown move.
