Black Watch is a true reflection of thoughtful design and craftsmanship. With countless custom details and one-of-a-kind design elements, the project transforms a downtown Sioux Falls space into a hospitality destination inspired by the mystery, sophistication, and timeless charm of the Prohibition era. Classic architectural details are paired with contemporary finishes to create an experience that feels both nostalgic and modern.

The experience begins in The Watch Shop, where a bright palette of light wood tones, marble-look flooring, and soft blue accents creates an inviting contrast to the hidden speakeasy beyond. As guests move through the space, the atmosphere shifts to layered lighting, rich wood finishes, plush seating, and subtle metallic accents that create an intimate setting for dining and conversation. The combination of custom millwork, whimsical artwork inspired by Sioux Falls’ history and landmarks, and carefully curated details (even within the restrooms) reinforce a cohesive design that feels both luxurious and approachable, resulting in a destination rooted in local character and designed to leave a lasting impression.
