And The Winner Is … Here’s A Look Inside The Cascade Lottery Party
She came as a contestant and left as the first person to lock in a loft at The Cascade.
Sarah Van Westen was the lucky winner of a first-ever lottery party held by Lloyd Companies in response to the huge demand from future residents at The Cascade, the newest downtown living option opening in the spring on North Phillips Avenue.
“I was excited,” said Van Westen, who chose a first-floor loft that will be convenient for outings with her Cavalier King Charles spaniel.
“It’s a large one-bedroom with high ceilings.”
For Van Westen, living downtown has become a lifestyle. She’s currently leasing at the Uptown Exchange, another Lloyd community in the Uptown area of downtown.
“I like it a lot,” she said.
After she had secured her spot, other residents were drawn and committed to their future lofts. Fifth-floor lofts with expansive views of the city and Falls Park were especially popular.
“We were so excited by the demand for The Cascade, and we’re ready to deliver a phenomenal lifestyle for our residents,” said Drew O’Brien Residential and Commercial Property Manager.
With an outdoor pool, massive courtyard, dog park and a fitness center, The Cascade offers a complete lifestyle. Residents will enjoy frequent concerts across the street at The Levitt shell and can socialize at the newly announced Severance Brewing Co. in the building as well as many other restaurants lining up to lease there.
“The good news is, we have 128 lofts total, so there are plenty of options left,” O’Brien said. “We can still find the perfect fit for any resident.”
