Fleet Farm

Fleet Farm chose Lloyd Construction to bring its first new prototype store to Bismarck, North Dakota, serving as developer, architect and general contractor for the nearly 192,000-square-foot retail store and 4,135-square-foot convenience store. Designed in early 2022 and delivered on schedule for owner fixture installation in December 2024, the project introduced customer-focused innovations like a drive-through warehouse for buy online, pick up in store orders and a reimagined layout that relocated the auto center outside the main retail box to increase merchandising flexibility. Despite challenging site conditions that required significant earthwork and over-excavation of the foundation, our team collaborated closely with Fleet Farm throughout construction, identifying engineering opportunities to reduce costs and adapting quickly to on-the-fly changes. The store opened in May 2025 with a strong community response, reflecting the quality, brand alignment and smooth turnover Fleet Farm expects from a trusted partner.
