When Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services set out to expand its campus to better serve people experiencing mental health and substance use crises, the project came with clear must‑haves. Lloyd Construction took the challenge head on while working alongside a fully operational assisted living facility without compromising safety or care.
Lloyd Construction enclosed the site with perimeter fencing, implemented strict access controls and maintained ongoing communication with facility staff to adapt to daily operational needs. Crews sequenced activities and coordinated closely with subcontractors to limit noise, manage traffic and avoid disruptions to patient care.
From administrative offices and clinical spaces to inpatient quarters and an on‑site pharmacy, the expansion is tailored to the specialized requirements of behavioral health. Capacity for crisis and inpatient care increased from 29 to 40 beds, enabling the center to reach more individuals when it matters most.
This project marks the second successful collaboration between Lloyd and Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services and underscores Lloyd’s commitment to improving quality of life in the communities we serve.
