Anne Behrendt is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Doran Companies, one of the leading commercial real estate companies in the upper Midwest. As CEO and majority owner, Anne oversees every aspect of Doran’s growth and strategy. Over the past decade, under Anne’s leadership, Doran has expanded its service offerings into new markets, developed, designed, or built an impressive portfolio of multi-family, commercial and mixed-use projects, managed millions of square feet of commercial space and residential communities, and secured $1.5 billion in new business.
Named a “Power 30 Developer for 2023″ by Finance & Commerce, a “Twin Cities Power Woman” by BisNow, one of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 under 40” and top “Women in Business,” Anne is held in high esteem by Doran employees, industry peers, and partners. Anne received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is a member of The Committee of 200 and serves on the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity board. Behrendt joined Lloyd Companies’ board in 2024, providing guidance from her vast experience in the industry as we continue to grow into the future.
