11th Annual Lloyd Spring Parade of Apartments To Offer Tours & Specials
Tour 20 of our communities across Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Apartment hunters will have a chance to explore dozens of options across the city during the 11th annual Spring Parade of Apartments this weekend.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday April 25 and features more than 20 properties open for tours throughout Sioux Falls. Hosted by the team at 605-334-RENT, the annual parade allows prospective renters to visit multiple communities without scheduling appointments.
“The Parade of Apartments is something we look forward to every year,” said Nikki Johnsen, experience manager for Lloyd Property Management and a broker associate. “It’s an opportunity for guests to tour any combination of our properties on their own schedule and really get a feel for what might fit their lifestyle.”
Properties will include a mix of traditional apartments, townhomes downtown lofts and even single-family rental homes located throughout the city.
This year’s event also will feature leasing incentives designed to simplify the moving process.
“Parade attendees will have access to exclusive rent specials and move-in incentives, along with our expert leasing team who can answer questions and guide them through the application process,” Johnsen said. “Our goal is to make leasing as easy and approachable as possible.”
Spring demand has remained strong, she added.
“Our leasing team has had a very busy spring so far,” Johnsen said. “There’s a lot of interest from people looking to make a move this season.”
Featured Properties Span City, Styles
Among the featured properties are several newer developments across Sioux Falls, highlighting the range of options available if you’re looking for a new home this spring.
Harvest Ridge Townhomes, located near 41st Street and Ellis Road, offer one of the newest living options on the west side. The community includes newly built two- and three-bedroom townhomes designed with modern layouts and spacious living areas.
“This is a great option for someone looking for a little more space while still having the convenience of maintenance-free living,” Johnsen said.
On the east side, The Carlton at Dawley Farms offers a more amenity-rich apartment experience near retail and dining at Dawley Farm Village.
The community features studio through three-bedroom units with high-end finishes, along with amenities such as a pool, fitness center, a coffee bar and smart-home technology.
Also on the east side, Split Rock Commons located on E 26th Street just opened their newest phase of townhomes.
Featuring 1-3 bedrooms with attached garages including an amenity package featuring a golf simulator
Downtown, The One2 brings a newer option to the city’s urban core.
The mixed-use development includes 175 units with studio through three-bedroom layouts and ground-floor retail, all within walking distance of restaurants, shops and entertainment.
Amenities include a fitness center, top-floor community space and a central courtyard designed to provide outdoor gathering space in the middle of downtown.

“The elevated courtyard at The One2 is definitely a must-see,” Johnsen said.

Incentives, Flexibility For Renters
In addition to touring properties, attendees who apply for a home during the event can enter drawings for Visa gift cards valued at $500, $250 and $100.
For those unable to attend in person, virtual options also are available.
“Guests can tune into live virtual tours on Facebook or explore online video tours from the comfort of their home,” Johnsen said.
