Tyler Haahr joined the Lloyd Companies Board of Directors in January 2020 and serves on the Governance and Investment Committees. He brings extensive executive leadership experience in banking, fintech, and governance. Tyler previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Meta Financial Group and MetaBank, now Pathward, until his retirement in 2019. During his tenure, he led the company’s growth and strategic evolution into a leading fintech-focused banking organization. Earlier in his career, Tyler practiced law and became a partner at the law firm Lewis and Roca.
He is actively engaged in nonprofit and community leadership, currently serving as a director on both the Sanford Health Foundation Board and the Sioux Falls YMCA Board, where he previously served as Chairman. Tyler also formerly served as Chairman and board member of the LifeScape Foundation Board and as a director on the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Board. Tyler earned his undergraduate degree in accounting with honors from the University of South Dakota and his law degree with honors from Georgetown University Law Center.
