The Union fulfills a need for housing in Box Elder, SD on the outskirts of Rapid City. The project design offers an industrial twist on modern design with a masculine color palette throughout featuring hard contrasts between black and white materials. The Union offers two centerlaod buildings with a clubhouse featuring a community room, fitness center and pool. Lloyd served as the developer, contractor and property manager as well as the architect, interior designer, furniture coordinator and site designer.
